The donated items were prepared to reflect the resource linkage needs and operational challenges faced by private care institutions, with the aim of enhancing the quality of local care services and expanding cooperation among organizations.

The donated goods consisted of approximately 20 boxes of processed chicken products (chicken nuggets) sponsored by Saerom FS Co., Ltd. In line with the purpose of the donation, the Sejong Social Service Institute distributed the items on-site through a collective allocation method.

Five organizations participated in the distribution on this day, including Hanteullin Daycare Center, Bangok Hana Daycare Center, Bangok Community Care Center, the Sejong Association of Organizations for the Disabled, and the Sejong Branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association. The distribution ensured that resources were provided across life-cycle care areas, benefiting infants, children, people with disabilities, and senior citizens.

President Myung-hee Kim of the Sejong Social Service Institute stated,

“The Sejong Social Service Institute will continue to closely connect valuable private-sector donations to care sites across the community, further strengthening care support that can be tangibly felt by various groups, including children, people with disabilities, and senior citizens.”

Meanwhile, the Sejong Social Service Institute plans to continue expanding its cooperative foundation with private companies and to enhance the sustainability of public care services and the local care ecosystem by linking external resources that reflect the actual needs of care sites.
