The Cheonan branch of the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) announced on the 29th that it had conducted a social contribution activity called ‘Sky Attic Kids’ at the Sinawon children’s welfare facility located in Samryong-dong, Cheonan.

According to the Cheonan branch of NHIS on the 30th, ‘Sky Attic Kids’ is an initiative led by NHIS branches across the country to support underprivileged children.

NHIS employees voluntarily contribute to a fund each month, which is then donated to children’s facilities.

In May, the NHIS Cheonan branch formed a sisterhood with Sinawon and has been volunteering to assist underprivileged children.

On this day, the NHIS Cheonan branch donated 1 million KRW to Sinawon and spent time making fruit cups with the children.

Additionally, the Cheonan City Journalists’ Association and Saerom FS Co., Ltd. joined the volunteer efforts by donating 30kg of cheese sticks.

The NHIS Cheonan branch plans to donate 500,000 KRW to the Saetbyeol Children’s Center in Ssangyong-dong on February 4th and intends to provide comforters worth 500,000 KRW to nine low-income families as part of their ongoing community support activities.

Maeng Jin-young, the director of NHIS Cheonan, stated, “We will continue to show interest in children’s welfare facilities and engage in various social contribution activities.”
